Weddings at St. Andrew's

St. Andrew's is a beautiful sanctuary in which to celebrate your wedding. 

While we do not require that couples who get married at St. Andrew's be members of the congregation, we would strongly encourage all who are interested to join us for a morning worship service in order to have a chance to see the sanctuary and get a feeling for the atmosphere and reverence of our worship services.

As well, it is important to remember that a wedding is, at its very heart, a service of worship.  Therefore, while there can be other elements introduced into the service to make it meaningful and personal for those involved, there will be readings from the Bible, prayers, and a tone of worshipful dignity in all weddings at St. Andrew's.  As well, we require that couples who are going to be married meet with one of the ministers at St. Andrew's, and that they participate in premarital counselling seminars either through the congregation or through some other recognized process.

St. Andrew's enjoys a tradition of excellence in music, which it wishes to maintain in all events that involve music, including weddings.  The music selected for these services must be sacred and classical.  The Director of Music at St. Andrew's must approve all musical selections before they can be used in the service. Commercial and popular music and some folk music will not be approved.
