Door Opens Toronto at St. Andrew's

 

On Saturday, May 24, 2008, St. Andrew's Church will be one of the featured sites for the annual Doors Open Toronto event.  This event allows visitors and guests to tour a number of Toronto landmarks and significant spaces.  This year's theme is Sacred Spaces and Sacred Circles.  For more information, please click here.

 

Congregational Forum -- May 25, 2008

 

On Sunday, May 25, David Cameron -- a member and elder in our congregation -- will be the speaker at the Sunday Forum.  David is the chairperson of the Political Science Department at the University of Toronto and is a much sought-after consultant on constitutional matters and federal government systems for emerging democracies.  He has traveled widely -- most recently in Israel, Sri Lanka, and Iraq.  In Israel he is working on a plan for the city of Jerusalem with Michael Bell and John de Chastelain.

 

The Sunday forum will take place from 12 pm to 1 pm.  All are welcome.

 

Annual 48^th Highlanders’ Regimental Service

 

On Sunday, June 1, the members and friends of the 48^th Highlanders of Canada will be participating in the annual regimental parade during the morning worship service at St. Andrew’s.
