6) Presbyterians Sharing... EAPPI: Ecumenical Accompaniment Program in Palestine and Israel

One of the ways that our congregation supports ministry beyond ourselves is through our financial contributions to Presbyterians Sharing... which is the denominational fund for the Presbyterian Church in Canada.  From time to time, we will be including snapshots of some of the ways that this support is making a difference in many parts of Canada, and the world.

Presbyterians Sharing... Update: Our gifts to Presbyterians Sharing support participants in the Ecumenical Accompaniment Program in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) as they accompany Palestinians and Israelis in their non-violent efforts to work for peace. Participants spend three months monitoring and reporting violations of human rights and international humanitarian law, offering protection through non-violent presence, engaging in public policy advocacy and standing in solidarity with churches. In April, the Rev. Jeannie Lee returned to Toronto after three months in Bethlehem with EAPPI. Jeannie is happy to share stories of her life-changing experiences with interested congregations. Let us pray together for a peaceful resolution to conflict in the Middle East.
