1) New Members’ Evening – Thursday June 5 – 7 pm

An introductory evening for those who are interested in exploring church membership will be offered on Thursday June 5 at 7 pm.  New members will be received into the congregation on Sunday June 15.  If you have not yet indicated your interest in joining us for this introductory evening, please contact the church office at 416-593-5600 or by clicking here

2) Sacrament of Baptism – this Sunday

We look forward to the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism for three children this Sunday.  Please join us for this wonderful celebration in our community of faith.

3) St. Andrew’s Members at the Presbyterian Church in Canada’s General Assembly

Please keep the General Assembly meetings of the Presbyterian Church in Canada in your prayers this week.  Three members of St. Andrew’s Church are participating in those meetings, which are taking place in Ottawa from June 1 – 6.  The General Assembly is an annual gathering of Presbyterians from across the country, who meet to oversee the work, doctrine and ministries of our denomination.

Eric Reynolds is there as a representative of the Pension and Benefits Board; Lori Ransom is there on behalf of the Justice Ministries department in her role as Healing and Reconciliation programme animator; and Marc Buist is there as a representative of our congregation and of the Presbytery of East Toronto.

We pray for God’s blessing to be with them, and with the work of the General Assembly.
